Gargoyle
Gargoyle Gecko
Rhacodactylus auriculatus
The Gargoyle Gecko is native to southern portion of the island of New Caledonia. Although their habitat labeled as least concern by the IUCN, it is threatened by deforestation.
This little one can “drop” its tail to create a diversion if threatened. Don’t worry, it can grow back!
